THS has rapidly become one of the leading suppliers of industrial textiles. Formed in 1985, the company commenced business with the distribution of a small selection of glassfibre fabrics, but has grown to such a degree that in-house production of woven fabrics began in 1996. Since then, not only have we been driven by market demand, but have shown the innovative quality to lead the way in product development.

The company’s product portfolio has expanded, from simple glassfibre fabrics, into a wide range of industrial textiles. Which are not only glassfibre based, but are also produced from silica or ceramic fibre. The range includes;

• light weight scrims for insulation cement
• more sophisticated versions of scrim cloth for filtration applications
• medium weight cloths for insulation jackets and mattresses
• heavyweight texturised cloths for heavy duty insulation protection

THS will be able to advise you on a host of different requirements, balancing specific applications with competing demands of mechanical strength and temperature resistance. To keep ahead of the competition investment has been made into the development of new treatments which can be applied to a variety of fabrics enhancing their performance.

Our commitment to continued growth is demonstrated by heavy investment in quality control. It is important to ensure that core business is not taken for granted, consequently THS endeavour to maintain and improve upon existing high levels of product quality and service. Many of our products have been tested externally, in particular to BS476 parts 4 & 7, and have class 1 ratings.

The quality of product is obviously extremely important, but presentation to the market is equally essential and assessment to ISO9002 was both a requirement and an assurance of our commitment to quality.
